Ashika Ranganath stepped out for the Sardar 2 trailer launch in Chennai wearing a deep emerald gown with a sculpted, ruched bodice and waist cutout.
The gown comes from Rukminii Atelier, cut as a two-piece illusion with a fitted bodice flowing into a soft, gathered skirt.
Vertical ruching gathers at the centre front, drawing the eye downward to a sharp diamond-shaped cutout at the waist.
Below the cutout, the same ruching continues into the skirt before releasing into a wide, floor-sweeping silhouette.
Turn around and the gown opens into a keyhole cutout beneath the collar, with the ruching mirrored down the spine.
The high, gathered neckline stands in contrast to the bare cutouts below it, giving the gown a controlled, architectural finish.
The portraits are shot by Abhilash Rangi, with styling assisted by Ajay Goud, framing the gown against weathered, textured walls.
Makeup artist Abhirami Sivakumar lines the eyes in green, while hairstylist Ganesh Maddy leaves loose curls framing the face.
An emerald-studded ear cuff climbs the ear, paired with a matching bracelet and rings from Kathaa by Konika, echoing the gown's colour.
